I got my Grandbaby a "Stick Horse" and was just sitting watching tv with this lil guy in view and decided to draw him so I can keep him here as a memory ....

Day #6 *A drawing a Day in April*

I was sitting at the park this weekend, it was a bit chilly but the sun was out and the wind was down. As I sat looking out at the river I doodled in my sketch book and this is what I came up with.....

I am thinking of using this for my Spring Notecard collection. I will be using watercolors on this one (cross your fingers for me).

After sharing a weekend with my sister and nephew and not posting for a bit, I have returned to post my drawings for 'A Drawing a Day in April'.

Here is a pen and ink copy of my 'Mouse n Flute'. I just love Rachelle Anne Miller and saw her drawing of a bunny playing a flute and was inspired to draw the same only using a Mouse (of course) well mine isn't anywhere near as wonderful as her's but here she is...

Of course I will return with a colored copy but whattcha think?

I am combining today's entry with that for Illustration Friday (IF) The theme is Talisman. {anything whose presence exercises a remarkable or powerful influence on human feelings or actions.}Eversince my parents passed away everytime I see wild flowers and butterflies it is like I can feel them next to me... thus MY Talisman....

even though deep in my heart my true 'talisman' is Jesus, butterflies and flowers touch my heart!Love and miss ya Mom and Dad.

Here is my entry for Day #2 of my Drawing a day in the month of April.

I have created this for a Frog ATC swap on Swap-bot.com

I am going to color it with sharpie's and color pencil. Will post the final soon.

A drawing a day ~ Day #1

I am going to try to add a drawing a day for the whole month of April. These may be assigned for swaps, sketches for EDM (everyday matters) or just doodles I create when I am waiting on the children somewhere.

For the first one I would like to show you a drawing I am working on for an Easter ATC Swap. I completed one for the Easter Chic now this one is for the Easter Bunny...

Now I have just started outlining him with my micropen and I will be adding color tomorrow. I am not going to attempt to water color this one like I did the Chic's, I think I will use color pencil and sharpie's. I will be sure to put the finish product here when he is done.

** EDITED ** As you see I have used color pencil and marker. I am happy with the way he turned out!
