A quick sketch

Here is a sketch I did up real quick while waiting for my dh to get the expedition inspected. I was thinking of making a note card with a "Wish you were here" theme and this is what I came up with for the cover. Let me know what you think.

A day out with the Girl Scouts

My two girls and I went on an outing with the girl scouts called "Everythings Fishy" and what fun we had. Here is my sketch journal entries for that day. I will replace them with the colored ones just as soon as I am done coloring. .

I don't know who had more fun, the girls, or me because I was able to sit and doodle the whole thing. heheh

Cutie Critter Swap

I was part of the Cutie Critter Swap at Swap-bot and we were assigned to create an ATC with each of the following.... A guinea pig, a hedge hog and a sugar glider. I had so much fun with this swap that I just had to share them....

I was not aware of what sugar gliders were but now that I know and they are so totally cute. I plan to draw them more!

My second swap.. off and in the mail

I am really enjoying these Swap-bot swaps. Here are a few of the second set of postcards I have sent out. This time the theme was 080808. We were to illustrate eight postcards to send out to eight people on August 8th. I tried to read up on the person I was sending them to too see what sort of things they liked. I hope they all enjoy them, I had fun creating them.

ATC's ATC's and more ATC's

This too is something new to me. I have never participated in an ATC (artist trading card) swap. Some of the ones I signed up for have an open theme, so while I sit and wait for my girls at Equine riding classes I sit and Doodle! Here are some of the ones I have done..
Now I am off to draw up some cutie critters for the next swap. Looking forward to that one too.

And Their OFF..

I finished my Every Day Matters recipe cards that I had to illustrate for the EDM Swap, and got them in the mail. I can't wait to see the wonderful art that will come my way as a recipe card. I hope everyone enjoys the one's I did. It sure was a lot of fun. I mixed mine up and some are watercolor, some Sharpie and some colored pencil. I can't decide which I like better hehehe.

As soon as everyone gets their cards I will post my pictures here. I was pleased with most of them.
