Fairies

New Fairies. Now I really like the way these turned out. Instead of the cartooney type fairies I have done in the past I have used 'real' gals and gave them fairy wings. Let me know whattcha think.

They are done in color pencil and outlined in fine permanent marker. I hope she enjoys them.

Coffee Painting

I joined a swap at ATCSFORALL and the sponsor introduced us to 'coffee painting'. I had never heard of such a thing but it is all over the internet. I really enjoyed doing this and ohhh the aroma... heavenly.

I can't wait to see what I come up with next. I think a MOUSE would look great painted in coffee. heehee :-)

Wacky Womens Weekend Sketch Trek

Oh I have to share how much fun I had with a dear friend of mine this past weekend. We met in Charleston SC for a weekend of fun, sketching, touring and eating. hehehe We made this logo for our tote bag... I did the frame work and LakeLady did the cartoon heroins. (didn't she do an awesome job). We had so much fun. We were right outside a marina and spent a little time there sketching boats, docks, and fiddler crabs heeheh Oh and we can't forget the oyster cactus hehehe I will be sure to add my sketches as I finish them. Of course in order to get in all that I could I just did some rough sketches and now that I am home I will finish them and color them.

Whimsey Gals

I have been working on some ATC's for a swap. The theme is Whimsey Girls and here are a few that I have finished.
This is a Pokeman series gal that I saw on line and liked. I really enjoyed drawing her she is fun!

This is 'Ginger'. I created her awhile back and thought she was Whimsey so I encluded her in this swap.

This is Molly, she is part of my TEA TIME GALS and thought she fit the Whimsey look as well.
