Rubber Ducky's Birthday

In honor of Rubber Ducky's birthday (from Sesame Stree) I drew this in my day planner and just wanted to share it!

Frida Kohal

Here was a challenge from willowing.ning. We had to draw Frida Kohal in our own way. Now mind you she is an artist from way back when and mostly did self portraits. She emphazised her unibrow and always seemed so sad in her paintings. Well when I began to doodle I thought maybe she was so sad because of her unibrow and maybe she had a huge GAP in her teeth as well. Sooo that inspired the big mouth drawing. The other is just a bit of a animated drawing of her! It was fun to do! I can't wait to see what other's have done.

Teddi card

Here is a note card I drew for a swap. My partners name was Teddi and so I drew a Teddy bear and a mouse for myself. This is just the black and white copy, I didn't get a picture of the finished card tho! This will still give you an idea!

Carousel Horse

Here is personal swap I did. My partner asked that I make her a Carousel Horse ATC. I hope she enjoys it! I had a lot of fun adding the background as much as I did drawing the horse itself! I have been working on getting more creative with the backgrounds on the ATC's to make them more 'active;.

bamboo atc's

I joined a swap at atcsforall and the theme was "Bamboo". I can't imagine bamboo without panda bears so I decided to include one on a few of the cards. I really had a lot of fun with this as I have never drawn Bamboo before!

Christmas Card 2010

This is the face of the Christmas Card that I send out for 2010. It was a lot of fun to create as my family and I took a picture by our tree in the same positions. (sorry it is sideways!)

I am so glad you stopped by to see what is going on in my art world. This has been a fun year so far for me, many art challenges and a new BOOK in the making! I hope you all will enjoy the posts of my doodles, sketches and stories.
